1: What are the Sustainable Developments Goals?

In September 2015, all 193 members of the United Nations adopted the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). After the biggest public consultation in its history, the UN established 17 Global Goals as a blueprint to creating a better and more sustainable future. The SDGs are a universal and ambitious call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030.

Achievement of the SDGs will require collaboration and mobilization of governments, companies, and people (including developers) all around the world. Below are websites and videos that provide additional context on the SDGs:
